Ultimate Green Smoothie

This is my all time go-to Green, nutritious and delicious smoothie recipe.

Made almost on the daily in our house and served to the kids (in stainless containers when they’re not feeling the green vibes that day!).

You won’t regret making this part of your morning routine.

INGREDIENTS

·       1 large frozen banana (100g ish)

·       3 frozen broccoli florets

·       1 tsp maple syrup

·       1 1/1 cup oat milk or any plant-based milk (I love Rude Health almond)

·       1 tsp peanut butter

·       small handful of kale / spinach

·       filtered water to top up

·       optional Plant protein (20g) - we use Vivo Madagascan Vanilla or Supernova Living Blends

INSTRUCTIONS

1.              Add all ingredients to a high speed blender. Blend until super creamy and delicious looking

2.            Pour into your favourite glass or container and get yourself ready for some serious nutrient influx!

It’s the perfect way to include some greens in your morning nutrition, I oftentimes add in a serving of Athletic Greens to supercharge this powerhouse smoothie.

Optional …remove the peanut butter to reduce overall calories - but keep it in if you’re making this after a workout or you’re in need of some extra fuel that day!
