Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga

Callum is a very experienced yoga teacher first completing his 200HR Ashtanga Vinyasa Teacher training with Vijay Amar at Universal yoga in Mysore, India in 2014. He later returned in 2018 to complete a further 500HR training to develop the knowledge and confidence to guide students through the Intermediate series. His classes are focused on breath, alignment and drishti.

Suitable for all levels.

It’s one of the most popular styles of yoga and suitable for all levels (beginners welcome).
In this style of yoga, each movement is synchronised to the breath. The breath is primacy, acting as an anchor as you move from one pose to the next.

The literal translation of ‘Vinyasa’ is connection

Coffee Morning For Dementia Action Week

From Monday 20 May to Sunday 26 May, it’s Dementia Action Week – a week that unites individuals, workplaces and communities to take action and improve the lives of people living with dementia.

Every three minutes, someone in the UK develops dementia. This means almost all of us knows someone affected by dementia – a family member, customer or member of staff,
– and it doesn’t just affect old people. But too many people living with dementia report feeling cut off from their community, losing their friendships and facing the condition alone.

Having dementia shouldn’t mean an isolated life. And it doesn’t have to. The actions from all of us can create supportive communities, where people living with the condition can continue to socialise with others, hop on the bus, go to their favourite shops or take part in local activities for as long as possible.

We are very passionate about this area at Wild & Wild!! We are a certified Dementia friendly Cafe and all staff have had relevant training.

These socials happen every 1st & 3rd Wednesday of every month. But as is Dementia Awareness Week we are doing an extra special one for the community. Its not just for people with dementia but anyone who fancies connecting, socialising and having a chill in our space.
